One Team Award
Angel Goldsborough-Lee's days are spent working with diverse agencies on Capitol Hill, including House and CAO leadership and the Capitol police: all to help facilitate technological upgrades.
“We have to work with each other to get things done,” Goldsborough-Lee said. “Getting people a bit out of their comfort zones to work and talk together.”
She’s being recognized with the “One Team Award” because she “consistently demonstrates an ability to reach across teams in support of important CAO and House initiatives,” her boss Technology Support Director Tina Hanonu wrote.
Her duties vary day to day, week to week. Goldsborough-Lee is charged with the oversight of the Escalations Team, so she is responsible for managing a dynamic group of support engineers who assist the Technical Support Representatives (TSRs) in the field by identifying and resolving complex problems. When there are system outages and e-mail is down, Goldsborough-Lee works with security to “simplify the message,” as she calls it and write notifications that even those without tech-savvy minds can understand.
She’s also working in other ways to make the day to day life of staffer’s and employees easier.
She worked on the delivery of the “Working Smarter Series,” which familiarizes House staff with information and services the House offers.
“Its about making people aware of all the wonderful services we have to offer,” she said.
